My name is Sophia Magdelena and I’m a tattoo artist based in Chinatown, New York City.

Originally from outside Chicago, I gave up my life as a midwest princess in 2018 to pursue a life of questing in NYC.

I specialize in illustrative blackwork and fineline tattoos. I lean towards fantasy and medieval subject matter, but I’m truly open to any client’s idea. Tattooing is a collaborative process, and it’s an honor to bring a client’s idea to life.

Tattoos can transform a person and change how they feel in their own skin. Just like magic. I’m grateful to every client that trusts me with their body and their vision.

When I’m not in the studio tattooing, I can usually be found sewing, crocheting, painting, hot gluing, or attending armored combat tournaments.
